"Teaming for the future..."
Why?...
The international P-3 Orion community is used to two yearly information exchange meetings: the ILSMT and the IOSC. Although very relevant to allow international exchange of ideas and information, the ILSMT focusses on US Navy oriented 'bolts and nuts' solutions, while the IOSC generally acts as a high level weapon system management forum, addressing and evaluating topics only then and there, e.g. during formal subcommittee meetings and informal ad-hoc side meetings.
P3Union is intended to fill a gap, specifically aiming at supporting the smaller P-3 Orion operators on a more continuity basis. P3Union provides an 'around-the-year' and 'around-the-clock' opportunity to address topics, to ask questions, and to share ideas and information. There is no restriction of a certain time window or to wait for a conference to attend. P3Union is always 'open', up and running!...
How?...
P3Union is two in one:
-
the Website www.p3union.com, open to anybody who wants to be informed on P3Union.
-
a Forum for registered users to store, retrieve and exchange information. In principle, there is no restriction with respect to the amount and the character of the forum data, whether it is logistical, operational or adresses technical issues.
To guarantee a well structured layout and continuity, the forum will be monitored by a moderator.
